Interaction design thesis project worked with a collaborative group of European Ice Age natural history museums to develop an immersive and interactive exhibit prototype on Upper Paleolithic Cave Art. The design problem centered around studying and analyzing emergent readers (aged 4-7) who lack the intellectual maturity to understand abstract concepts such as time and historical epochs. To do this, interviews, surveys and exercises were conducted with children from grades K-5 to assess their knowledge of the topic and experiences with both immersive and interactive exhibits.
Published thesis and atifacts of process include User Personas, User Journey Map, interactive prototype examples, explanatory motion graphics, branding and style guides, typographics studies, wayfinding and signage, and exhibit layout.
